Introduction
Hunter Kane is a Resource Management Consultancy with substantial experience of successfully helping individuals to manage their careers effectively.

The aim of the programme is to provide constructive help and support for all those employees who have been affected by organisational change.  Clients receive positive and objective help, specific to their needs, and are introduced to the techniques of ‘self marketing’.

In order for any job search campaign to be successful it requires the full commitment of those who participate in it.  At Hunter Kane we are totally committed to guide, assist and support everyone we work with to achieve his or her personal career objectives.

Programme Style
The emphasis is on practical and pragmatic support, with professional management from Hunter Kane consultants to maintain drive and motivation for every individual.  We provide all the information, materials, databases and administrative back up required to find a new career.  Review meetings are held with each individual to ensure progress.

The fundamental philosophy of the programme is 'management by objectives', where we jointly agree a programme of activity and then measure progress towards the agreed goals.

Our primary goal is to work with individuals and to get to know and understand each person in order to ensure that everyone achieves their own goals in finding a new career direction.


It is not unusual for people who have been adversely affected by an evolving organisation to suffer loss of confidence and self esteem at some stage.  In addition to practical guidance, we will therefore work closely at the personal level to give genuine support.

The Job Market
During the course of the programme, clients gain a better understanding of their skills and how they can be utilised.  With Hunter Kane support clients are shown how to search and apply effectively for vacancies that match individual particular skills and career objectives - in terms of job, company, location, salary, etc.

Programme Objectives
For many people who are faced with the prospect of leaving the organisation, a change of career direction could be important.  This change could be within employment, or possibly by becoming self-employed, either running a small business, or working as a self-employed consultant.  Therefore, it is our aim to gain a clear understanding of needs to help clients make the right decisions and to implement those decisions.
